Kim Walker

Bio.

Kim Walker is a joyful, radical lover of Jesus! She lives to worship Him with every ounce of her being. One of the greatest desires of her heart is to see God's kingdom and power manifest for people to be set free, healed, and radically changed as they encounter God in worship. Kim currently leads worship and pastors the worship team at Bethel Church in Redding, California. She has quickly become one of the strongest voices for the current youth revival. She is a passionate worship leader with an anointing to bring an entire generation into an encounter with God. All of those who are in a worship service led by Kim will catch her contagious love to worship.

Personal.

I love chocolate. I have a not-so-secret obsession with it. Every kind of chocolate. I eat it literally every day. This would probably explain why I am so hyper. I love life and I love to laugh. My hair color changes frequently. I hate bugs. I bought this invention from the Sky Mall magazine called the "Keep Your Distance Bug Vacuum." It has saved my life! I can suck up the bugs into the vacuum from a distance, and then an electric grid inside zaps them dead! It's wonderful! I am the oldest of 5, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. I am a little cranky in the mornings. Sometimes I get a little free time and I love to spend it shopping or watching movies. I absolutely LOVE going to Disneyland! I went to Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry for 2 years in 2001-2003. Everybody thinks I am 19 or 20 and I just let them think that. I was born and raised in Oregon and yes, I was once crowned "Potato Queen." I have to set the record straight about me playing an instrument. I do play an instrument - the kazoo. I also play the cowbell pretty good. Here is my list of top 10 things I want to do before I live forever in Heaven with Jesus: 1) Write some books. 2) Invent something. 3) Eat at a corner cafe in Paris. 4) Watch the ball drop in Times Square on New Year's Eve from the little restaurant that turns around. 5) See a whole bunch of fireflies. 6) Go to Israel. 7) Win a Grammy. 8) Raise the dead. 9) Vacation on a tropical island far away. 10) Own a vineyard and a house on the beach in southern California.

Influences

This is both musically and non-musically: Holy Spirit, Bethel Church, my thoughts and emotions, Jill Austin, Over the Rhine, Misty Edwards, Imogen Heap, Anthony Skinner, Eva Cassidy, John Mark and Sarah McMillan, Molly Williams, Rick Pino, Suzy Yaraei; I really want to invent sound and be myself. I have a destiny uniquely designed for me and a voice all my own.

Favorites

Food: Anything spicy, mostly Mexican food. Starbucks: Grande peppermint hot chocolate, no whip; although recently I discovered that I really love a Milky Way from Dutch Bros. Movies: Romantic comedies, Lady in the Water Hobby: I'm super competitive and LOVE to play games, especially "Catch Phrase". Ice Cream: Death by Chocolate or Double Fudge Brownie. Quirks: I am germ-phobe and everything has to be in even numbers.
